Yuri’s Night Bay Area
Yesteday I attened Yuri’s Night Bay area at Moffet Field… A large and ecclectic celebration of science, music, art, technology, etc… Here are a few picts and random thoughts.
Guitarist and electronic musician Christopher Willits performed a set of processed and looped guitar soundscapes. Very cool.
Some random contraption.
Avant-Cellist Zoe Keating. Beautiful cello looping… outstanding.
Tycho. Main main reason for initially coming out to Yuri’s Night. Very nice down-temp electronica. I couldn’t exactly discern how much actual “live” performance was going on (not that it would be “wrong” or otherwise… I’m just curious) ... but the music was/is great. Definitely one of my faves over the past year or so.
The massive sound system at the Annex Stage
Outstanding acrobats.
Space kid and....?
Space People. Costumes were encouraged. At least i hope these were costumes.
Yuris Night even included an acrobatic air-show!

Welcome. This is the Botched Blog, the personal web site and hideous time-sink for Gustaf Fjelstrom (that would be me). Part proving ground and rickety digital soapbox, part high tech scrapbook of pixelated narcissism, this site will serve merely to document the journey… lest I forget.
