The Botched Blog
‘Twas the Week Before Christmas
It’s been quite a few years since I’ve felt like I had an actual Christmas vacation… but the compulsory DR shutdown has made it so! What’s that mean?? Sleeping in until noon? Chomping down on check-mix while watching ultimate fighting and reruns??? Certainly not! I’ll have you know I’ve been busy wasting time in the studio… painting, recording… oh, and christmas shopping. On the painting front, I’ve been working the last couple weeks on a rather ambitious piece (sorry, can’t really show it off.... yet) and I’m getting ample time to put a few marks down. On the recording end of things, I’m laying down some tracks for what may (or may not) be the next MI album. And the Christmas shopping… ah… not so much. In fact I’d better get going.

Welcome. This is the Botched Blog, the personal web site and hideous time-sink for Gustaf Fjelstrom (that would be me). Part proving ground and rickety digital soapbox, part high tech scrapbook of pixelated narcissism, this site will serve merely to document the journey… lest I forget.
