The Botched Blog

It Was a Dark and Stormy Night

Okay, sorry… I couldn’t resist starting off the first post of this brand new Botched Blog with such cheese. But it is, actually, dark and stormy out there tonight.

I’ve been slaving away over this thing for the past month—okay, two weeks, really. I starded the design a month ago, but didn’t get around to building the templates until a bit later. Of course I could have been documenting my progress here all the while, but then that would have made sense. Having a deadline has helped get things moving along, as I have found to be the case with most creative endeavors.

The deadline in question is for the Expression Engine Shootout, which comes pass tomorrow at midnight. So… I would now like to welcome everyone to the grand opening of… The Botched Blog.

I’ll be blogging here about my current goings-ons: occasional, possibly random and inchorent, but potentially relevant musings on art, blogging, books, design, God, hobbies, life, movies, music, photography, technology, the web… and perhaps some other topics even more tedious and boring than those.

For now, things are likely to be in a state of flux—loads of fine sanding and polishing still to do, as well as the (hopefully) constant addition of actual content. If you find something behaving badly (or whatever) .
