Pig Robot Done… and even more Thievery
The pig robot is done. Now titled “Swine-Mech Character Study”. You can check out a higher-resolution final version over at CG Talk). Initially, I thought I wanted to take it a bit further - but then there’s always that one more thing one could do to a painting. I’ve heard it said it takes two artists to paint a picture. One to do the painting and one to take it away. Now on to the next one.
I went out to my truck the other morning, as a usually do. I crossed the driveway, rounded the front of the vehicle, and inserted my key… into a gaping hole where the lock mechanism used to be. Arrgh. It was just a few weeks ago that on a similar morning I went through similar motions only to discover my door already open, my dashboard partially disassembled, and my head-unit partially (thankfully) removed. This time nothing seemed to be disturbed. Perhaps “they” realized only after punching in my lock that I had replaced my old car stereo with a head-unit with a detachable face.
And in the “huh??!?!?“ department… Current temp here in San Jose: 37. Current temp in Detroit: 61. Brrrr.

Nice illustration. Sucks about your neighborhood. I had no idea that area had so much petty crime.
Ping me back sometime. I see I keep missing you on IM.

Welcome. This is the Botched Blog, the personal web site and hideous time-sink for Gustaf Fjelstrom (that would be me). Part proving ground and rickety digital soapbox, part high tech scrapbook of pixelated narcissism, this site will serve merely to document the journey… lest I forget.
