Catching One’s Breath… and More Rain?
Just when I had switched my brain into full-on summer-mode, after three weeks of famously warm and sunny California May weather… the rains come again. But it’s just as well. Gives me a chance to catch my breath. Actually, this past week I’ve enjoyed a fair amount of downtime after a solid week of running this way and that. A triathlon (my wife’s, of course… not mine!) at Lake San Antonio, a photo shoot in Houston, a meeting in Santa Monica, practice back in San Jose with MI, then a show… That was quite enough for one week, thank you. Of course, the week following saw exactly zero progress on anything else, as all I wanted to do was just unwind, tidy up the studio, straighten up the garage a bit… standard procrastination faire, you know… oh, and catch up on a TiVo full of various season-ending silliness.
I wasn’t entirely unproductive, however. Today was Monkey Rum Sunday. What’s Monkey Rum, you ask? It’s only a super top-secret project undertaken by myself and one crafty and witty gentleman who goes by the codename “Lamby”. Here’s a little preview:
